Makino Stop Bank Construction Reids Line - Feilding

In April 2008 we finished the second stage of the stop bank construction between the Makino Stream
and the Kiwitea River.

This included an area that was to have a drop structure built by a separate contract. The job was
setout and monitored with the Leica Total Station and Road Runner Software.

The finishing of the earth bunds was completed using the grader and the 3d machine control system.
The design was provided by the Regional Council and was built within their specifications.

The total amount of material imported for the bunds was 32,000m3.
